Axel Brüel and Charlotte Brüel

The ceramist Axel Brüel worked at the Porcelain Factory – Lyngby Porcelæn as a close artistic advisor and had great influence on the clean and functional design direction the company took during the 1940's and 50's.

Besides functioning as a counsellor at the factory Axel Brüel also shaped and designed in his own name. One of his designs was the sleek and multifunctional Pitcher. In 2015 his daughter, Charlotte Brüel, designed a very special glass called Tumbler that fits perfectly with her father's design.
